Don’t arrest anyone; beat all of them to death.
Ethan Thomas (André Sogliuzzo) is no longer in the FBI. In fact, he is now a
homeless, crazy alcoholic. The police recruit Ethan (and for some reason they
give the crazy alcoholic a gun) to find the killer of his mentor. As he begins
to search he finds a secret society called the Oro and
a dark link that he has to them. With the help of an old enemy, that chopped
his finger off in the first game, Ethan must go to the source of the Oro and stop it before it unleashes hostility on the whole
world.
This game is a first person game but more melee
weapons are used than guns. There are quite a few things that can be used as
weapons but there is a limitation on how many different moves you can do with
them. There is an investigation mode where you can look at evidence, collect
samples, and make reports of the crime scene. The overall story line was the
typical silly horror/action game plot but it wasn’t terrible. There are a few
practice arena extras that are pretty cool but become repetitive quickly. The
multiplayer was the biggest let down of the game. It is way too easy to die and
the respawning takes forever.
Overall
it is something worth renting for the Single Player mode: 4 out of 5
